On September 26, I attended an Aids Life Cycle social event. After a couple of hours of mingling and conversing, I was more than convinced to sign up, and so I did.

Some of you have heard of this ride, and some of you haven't. To those hearing about this for the first time, the event consists of approximately 3000 cyclists who fund raise towards the research for a cure to HIV and AIDS, as well as sponsoring community HIV/AIDS and STD laboratory tests, STD medications, counseling and therapy, STD education, and many more services.

I have decided to join the 10K club; this means my fund raising target is $10,000 (go big or go home right?).

It is not a requirement but it's a good goal and will help cover the cost of many services in the next year. (see your donations at work). I hope you will help me achieve this.

In this blog I will post about my bike rides, raffle tickets, gifts and prizes, fundraising events, and overall progress. Check back in often, and follow me through this.
